Chicken Coop With Run

The Katie Chicken Coop is the perfect coop for your feathered friends and is designed to be child friendly and very easy to use.

This coop is made from high-quality kiln dried timber that has been treated with an animal-friendly wood stain.

The coop is suitable for up to four laying hens and available in a lovely Sage Green & White colour.

The Katie Coop has all of the great features of our other chicken coops, from a cosy sleeping area for the hens to easy-access egg collection.

This coop comes in a number of pre-attached panels with the wire mesh also already pre-attached.

The coop is also equipped with a felt roof that can be easily lifted up for easy access and cleaning.

Features:

• The Katie chicken is designed to be child friendly and very easy to use. A lot of thought has went in to making it really easy to collect the fresh eggs each morning, and features such as an inner sliding coop door and sliding cleaning tray makes it very easy to use.
• Free delivery to anywhere in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
• The sleeping area is raised off the ground.  This helps to prevent vermin from nesting underneath the coop and is an important part of hen house design.  It also gives a nice sheltered area underneath the coop for the chickens during the day.
• Sliding Access Door to run with handy closing handle. This means that it is possible to close the door to the sleeping area each evening from outside the coop.
• Strong 1/2 inch x 1/2 inch galvanised wire.
• Dried and Treated Wood (tongue & grooved).

To ensure longevity, the coop should be treated with a non-toxic animal friendly wood preservative within the first month and/or before it comes into contact with any heavy rain, and regularly afterwards.

Katie Extension Pen - We recommend giving your hens as much space as possible. This extension pen allows you to increase the run size of the Katie Coop. The pen offers you a cost-effective way to give your chickens extra space without the need for fencing. Chickens love spending their days outside grazing grass. Thus, the more space they are given to do this the better. This extension pen almost doubles the run size.

Starter Pack – This gives you the main things that you need to get set up with your chickens. The 3kg feeder is specially designed to prevent food wastage, as the fins in the base helps to stop the chickens kicking the food everywhere. The 3lt drinker helps to ensure that your chickens are provided with clean water.
